Watermelon is an ideal fruit for summer. It has high percentage of water in it and is rich in several vitamins and nutrients. With so many advantages of having watermelon, a super tasty Watermelon drink would seem even tastier! Watermelon being naturally so sweet we don’t need any extra sugar in this drink but a spoon of honey won’t harm!
What do you need – (For 2 glass)
Diced watermelon – 4 cups
Honey – 2 tsp
Rock salt – 1/4 tsp
Few ice cubes/1cup chilled water
Red Chilly powder – A pinch ( optional)
Mint leaves – For garnishing
2 watermelon slices – For garnishing
Let’s shake it :
In a mixer jar, add the watermelon chunks and blend it till it’s liquidy. Add the ice cubes, honey, rock salt, pinch of red chilly and blend everything well. Pour the drink in glasses. Top it with some mint leaves if available and put a slice of watermelon each on the edge of glasses to make it look even more tempting.
